Camping for individuals with special needs!

Caglewood is a Camping Program that serves individuals with developmental disabilities through active outdoor programming. We are a non-profit 501-C3 run completely by a dedicated group of volunteers living in the Atlanta region. It has been a primary goal never to let the costs of camping prevent anyone from attending our trips, but over the past two years with a challenging economy we have seen a great increase in requests for financial assistance, yet a significant decrease in overall charitable giving. That is why we want to take the proactive measure of launching an endowment to ensure we always have funding for campers whose families cannot afford to participate. As of April 1, 2010, Caglewood was supposed to be in the running for the “Pepsi Refresh Project” with a shot at securing a $250k grant, but for the second month in a row has been removed by the judges at the last minute. Now we are changing our direction all together and taking this time to ask for your individual support through the endowment.

Step 1
GIVE!
Donate Can you afford to give up $25 per month?
  • Dinner at a resturant
  • A night at the movies for Two
  • A round of drinks with friends
  • less than most insurance co-pays!
  • its only $0.80 per day
If we can motivate 850 people to do just that and pledge to donate $25 per month we would raise $255,000 in 12 months!

Step 2
SHARE!
